Gentle Teaching International (GTI) was formalized through the hard work and commitment of many international leaders working alongside Dr. John McGee. It was determined that the best way to ensure the continuity of our movement was to formalize an organization and the creation of an international board of directors. The first steering committee was formed in 2013 consisting of members appointed by Dr. McGee.
The Board of Directors provides the strategic leadership necessary to establish and review GTI’s mission, vision, mandate, goals and objectives. The board’s main purpose is to serve those who serve others in their community through a culture of gentleness.
The Board of Directors is comprised of a maximum fifteen (15) members. Representation includes members from a cross-section of countries and professions with an interest in supporting and promoting the work of Gentle Teaching International.
Gentle Teaching International is a registered non-profit organization in the province of British Columbia, Canada.
